While I'd hesitate to call anything "the best" as best is subjective, here are some of interest: I'd have to play it again, the main thing I remember is Stone Of Sisyphus itself, which I've played on Journey Of The Sorcerer's Apprentice a couple times (one time it was sandwiched between Iron Maiden and an acoustic Jethro Tull song). Personally, I think it's an alright record. So I think somehow in some people's minds, that added to being something that it wasn't. Also, the band kept telling everyone the reason it was never released was because Warners, in their "wisdom" decided there were no "singles" or whatever. The thing was you had people who obviously never heard the album, like the turkeys who write the narration for Behind The Music, describing it as "ambitious" and how the band wanted to do something "different". C'mon, were people really expecting something like the first three records? However, others say it's in no way a return to their glory days. Some say it's not the '80s stuff that they're known for. I was afraid to get it for the longest time, as I read conflicting reviews about it. I know it's not prog, but I nominate Stone Of Sisyphus from Chicago.
